Anger causes more problems

James 1:20 Human anger is a futile exercise that will never produce God’s kind of justice in this world.

Anger destroys joy

It has been my unfortunate experience that anger invites more sin.

Anger explodes lives. It kills relationships; it burns bridges and destroys people.

Anger destroys trust.

If only we would leave injustices done to us and those we love to God.

His justice is fierce.

Leave your anger in God’s hands. 

Keep your sanity.

Good Friday, April 22, 2011 2 Corinthians 4:1 We don't become discouraged, since God has given us this ministry through his mercy. It doesn’t matter how close you are to God, at some point you may feel discouraged and elect to take a break. Take a short break, pull yourself together and make sure you stay connected to God because you are needed for the purposes for which He made you. That has become quite clear in my journey. Real dependence on God begins when you lay your sins and burdens at the foot of the cross. Once you reveal your true heart to God, he opens doors that you can walk through even while storms are raging in your own world. He knows that you are not perfect, but he knows why you were created and where/when he needs you. God works through us to accomplish his purposes. Matthew 9:13   Go and learn what this means, ‘I want mercy and not sacrifice.’ (Hosea 6:6)   I have not come to get those who think they are right with God to follow me. I have come to get sinners to follow me.” Good sermons have a way of piercing hearts.  Andy Stanley’s   Follow, Pt.1 Jesus Says   sermon made me examine my heart in a big way. I suggest that you listen to the podcast because the message is good for nonbelievers, but especially amazing for those of us who love the Lord. Andy’s key points: ü Being a sinner is a prerequisite.  The o nly people who resist Jesus are those who "think" they are fine. Be careful!
