1 John 2:17 And this world is fading away, and these evil, forbidden things will go with it, but whoever keeps doing the will of God will live forever. 

 What we say or don't say has eternal signification to those around us. Sure it's easier to be quiet...to ignore or turn a deaf ear to popular culture. When we don't take a stand again forbidden "things" we basically go along. 

 God is holy. He doesn't change his mind. You and I will see His face someday. 

 I want to live forever.

The most powerful way you can influence people is to lead them closer to Jesus.

Why I write this blog

Family and friends, My entire reason for maintaining this Journey blog is to inspire you to seek God (Matthew 28:19-20) and to read the Scriptures for yourself so that your soul might live on in eternity in His glorious presence (Revelation 21:11).  I've experienced His powerful presence here, right now on earth. October 19, 2013 Acts 17:27 - Living Bible (TLB) “His purpose in all of this is that they should seek after God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us. Since I read a wonderful  post  on Maria Shriver’s blog, this post has been swirling in my brain. While cleaning treasures from my closet this morning, I found one of my many journals.  At that time, I had experienced the second happiest day of my life. Before I write about those days, I must tell you what I know for sure now. May 2, 2006  is the best day of my life. Period. There will be no other better day while I am living on Earth because on that day,  I saw the hand of God  and my life changed forever.  It was an unexpected supernatural occurrence.
